About HDMP
The Hopwood Dance and Music Productions (HDMP) club was created by the Admiral Herbert G. Hopwood Junior High School Career and Technical Education Teachers for the purpose of performing arts. Activities for HDMP Club will include but are not limited to:
1. On-stage performances on campus for flag ceremonies, pep-rallies, and other STUCO sanctioned activities on AHGHJHS Campus. 2. Competitions held by government and private agencies which include, dance, song, and band such as the annual CDC Kick Butts Day, NMC Charter Day and Power 99fm’s Dance Fest to name a few. 3. Community events, such as The Flame Tree Arts Festival, The Taste of Marianas, Thursday Street Market and other events as they are advertised. 4. Fundraising events, approved by STUCO, PTSA, and Administration, to help raise funds for uniforms, costumes, equipment, and a school project which emphasizes performing arts. 5. Further develop the HDMP Club for the incoming group of 7th and 8th graders to come and continue the work of supporting the performing arts. |
